--> Jared is currently on the road with the Drum Set/Percussion chair for the National Tour of The Book of Mormon. Prior to this tour, Jared was the drummer for the  National Tour of Beautiful The Carole King Musical (AFM/Union).

Bio:​
Jared Shaw has been playing drum set and percussion since the age of five. He has studied with James Saporito (Tony Awards Orchestra), Shawn Pelton (Saturday Night Live), and Valerie Naranjo (The Lion King) among others.
 
As a versatile groove drummer, Jared has extensive experience playing in a variety of bands and musical groups ranging from big-band jazz, jazz trios, indie rock, funk, and much more. Jared has performed at prestigious venues across the country including The Kennedy Center, Fox Theater, Academy of Music, Paramount Theater, 54 Below, The Green Room 42, Soho House, The Bitter End, Rockwood Music Hall, Skirball Center, and many more. Jared has performed with New York pit orchestras for over forty different professional productions of varying sizes and has studied with several Broadway drummers and percussionists. In the Summer of 2018, Jared was the percussionist and drummer for the Off-Broadway show God Save Queen Pam at The Players Theater. 

In 2020, Jared graduated from the Steinhardt School at New York University majoring in Percussion Performance. As drummer for the NYU Broadway Orchestra under the artistic advisement of Ted Sperling and John Miller, Jared has played under accomplished conductors Ted Sperling (My Fair Lady), Joseph Church (Lion King), Ana Flavia Zuim (Hamilton), and James Moore (On the Town). Through the Broadway Orchestra, he has also accompanied Tony award-winning and Broadway A-list singers Lindsay Mendez, Capathia Jenkins, Laura Osnes, and Matthew Morrison.
