Jared Shaw is a versatile drummer and percussionist who has performed on Broadway and held the drum chair for recent national tours, including Beautiful: The Carole King Musical and The Book of Mormon.

His Broadway subbing work includes Tommy, The Book of Mormon, and Operation Mincemeat, among other shows. He also plays Off-Broadway, in workshops, and in concert and studio settings.

Alongside performing, Jared teaches private lessons and leads masterclasses and clinics, drawing on his experience touring and subbing in theater orchestras.

Behind the Kit & the Screen

Off the stage, Jared creates and edits video and audio content end to end. From performance videos and multi-cam edits to general video editing, audio production, scoring, and transcriptions, it’s all built in-house with Logic Pro X, the Adobe Creative Suite, and Final Cut Pro.
